Come to the TV Tower´s birthday celebration and enjoy skydiving with the rhythm of blues!
This summer we are celebrating the 44th birthday of the Tallinn TV Tower and invite you to be part of this special event. The festivities begin already on Thursday and we have many exciting surprises and activities in store for you.
As every year, the TV Tower outdoor area will host the BASE Boogie skydiving competition, attracting jumpers from all over the world. The company will be prestigious – 50 jumpers from 15 countries: Denmark, Finland, UK, Sweden, USA, Belarus, Germany, Greece, Lithuania, Poland, Brazil, New Zealand, Australia, Estonia and of course France.
The French summer at the TV Tower brings Sylvain OULALA to our birthday on all four days. On the last day of the birthday, 14th July, Bastille Day, Sylvain will perform a ride on his unicycle on the open viewing platform of the TV Tower, 175 meters above ground, setting a world-record-worthy performance.
Annual ticket holders have the exclusive opportunity to witness this world record-worthy performance from the balcony of the TV Tower, offering a direct view of Sylvain’s ride. To access the balcony, you need to show the annual ticket receipt obtained from the cash desk to the TV Tower experience guide.
What’s new at the birthday celebration this year? This year, we decided to add a series of blues concerts to the traditional BASE Jump Boogie program for the TV Tower’s birthday and to establish a new music series called “Pirita Blues.” All the performers this year are from Tartu, making this year’s “Pirita Blues” a tribute to the cultural capital Tartu 2024. Each evening, one performer will take the stage. The concerts will start at 7:00 PM each evening and the program will last approximately 1.5 hours. Outdoor cafes will be open.
The four days will be full of fun and surprises. Every day, all children’s favorite ETI and trampolines will be present. Children can enjoy the trampolines for a small fee. Price is 3 €/15 minutes.
